
Stevland Haraway Morris (ne Judkins) was born on the 13th of May 1950. He is also known as Stevie Wonder and is considered to be a pioneering musician as well as an influencer for musicians from various genres from blues, jazz, gospel, soul and jazz. Wonder's 1970s use of synthesizers and other electronic instruments created R&B virtually a one-man-show. Wonder also contributed to the growth of genres in the era of albums. His LPs were consistent and coherent and socially conscious statements with complex compositions. Blind since the day of his birth, Wonder was a child prodigy who signed on with Motown's Tamla label at 11 years of age at which point he was given the stage name Little Stevie Wonder. Wonder's famed critical success reached its peak during the 1970s. His "classic period" which began in 1972 it was when he released Music of My Mind. Talking Book featured "Superstition", one of the most well-known and distinctive sounds recorded by the Hohner Clavinet keyboard. His work Innervisions (1973), Fulfillingness"First Finale (1974) and Songs in the Key of Life (1976) all won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. He is the holder of the tie-record for the most album of the Year wins, with three. Wonder is the sole artist to have won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year for three consecutive albums. Wonder began his "commercial period" in the early 1980s. the artist had his biggest hit songs and highest level of fame, had increased sales of albums, charitable participation and high-profile collaborations
