Sharon Yvonne Stone, born on March 10, 1958, at Meadville (Pennsylvania) was her mother's Dorothy Lawson, a former factory worker, as well as Joseph William Stone, a maker of tools and dies. Michael, Kelly and Patrick, are three of her siblings. Stone was considered academically gifted when she was a kid and started in second grade at the age of five. She earned a high school diploma from Saegertown which is located in Saegertown situated in Pennsylvania in 1975. In 1975, the Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw Stone take home Miss Crawford County. Stone and her aunt moved to New Jersey to New Jersey to start a modelling career in the year 1977. They signed up for an agency called the Ford Modeling Agency after a few months. The next stage was Europe which she was to spend a year with her aunt in Milan, Paris and other cities. Stone however became disillusioned in Europe by the fashion business and decided to move to acting. Woody Allen's movie, "Stardust Memories", received mixed reviews in her 20s.
