Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey started at the age of 14. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her amateur debut at age 18, at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to take down three opponents within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents were finished within the first minute. Then, she went to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and defeated her in a unanimous decision, putting an ominous mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd bounced back from defeat in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen started her professional career in the year 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the the first round via TKO. She won her next fight in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen's superior wrestling skill took down McGill in the first round, and she was able to end her fight in the third round by TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at the catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd was unable to reach her weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. She won via TKO in the second-round. Invicta FC 28 was her final bout with the club. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a an unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round in the second. Ladd remained in the lead, and won another big win over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd took on Evinger with a punch during the first round and earned a performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks in her debut fight. Ladd took home the night's main event fight bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in an intense combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to end Ladd and her streak. Following a brief break after which she went on to beat Yana Kunizkaya in UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. It was a unanimous decision against her.
